If you are looking for resources to help teach the Spanish alphabet, you’ve come to the right section! Learning the alphabet is so important because it is the foundation for all reading and writing that students will be doing as they learn the language. Though the letters may look similar, students sometimes struggle with remembering the differences between the sounds those letters can make.

This activity is designed to help students recognize how to pronounce the sounds made by each Spanish letter. They will see the Spanish letters in the left column, with English pronunciations in the right column. There are also examples of the Spanish sounds in English words to help students relate the sounds to something familiar to them. This is a great tool to give your students as a reference sheet or as part of a large group activity where the teacher helps pronounce the letters with the students.
